Rio Celeste´s intense turquoise water, the product of a whimsical combination of pure river water and volcanic minerals, offers one of natures most complete eccentricities.
Located in Tenorio National Park, Río Celeste is the main attraction as it winds around Tenorio Volcanos foothills. Natural hot springs; boiling pool; a lagoon so vividly blue that youll sense the areas absolute peace; dye pools, which are places where the rivers crystalline waters fuse with calcium carbonate and sulfur from the volcano; and of course the array of wildlife.
