  • As a pilot myself, I'd like to encourage all pilots having the opportunity to fly Mr. Daly around to find a good reason to "down" the aircraft and let him walk, drive or crawl were ever he may need to travel to. He deserves to never fly again!

  • Dayley is a terrorist to aviation.

  • Re-open it & leave the airspace class G. It will then become a Light Sport & GA hub. Light Sport/recreational flying is out growing GA in almost every country it exists in. It is rare to have a Light Sport hub that close to a major city, it will be a very unique proposition.

  • Democratic People's Republic of Chicago?

  • @kevino25701 I think I speak for all of us, when I say that we'd be happy to take up Mr. Daly flying..... providing we get a chance to stungun his ass and kick that mofo out without a parachute. And then in a Clint Eastwood voice, squint our eyes and say "Now you're retired." Somebody has got to fix these commie bastards before there isn't an America left to fight for. In my very humble opinion of course.

  • 12/14/2011 - well the same thing kinda happened with Airport MO-32 (Table Rock Lake Airport) down in southern missouri - a new owner purchased it and bulldozed it up, to make everyone pay fees, which used to be FREE !!!

  • No one wants it back besides the few people that are pilots who flew in and out of it or the few pilots that never have been there but want to go. Hardly anyone in Chicago used it except executives. You could go there in the late 90's and early 2000's and you would be extremely lucky to even see activity there. It was almost a tradition for a plane to end up in the lake once a year during the 90's. I don't know why so many people are pissed about it, it really wasn't that great.

  • Why couldn't they just put an Educational Place named after his wife, so that kids can learn? Daley is finally out, and at age 13, Im stil gonna bring this up to Rahm Emmanuel! Thumbs up if I should!

  • I Live In The UK ive just comeoff Flight simulator online we were having a great time at Meigs. I will actually cry myself to sleep knowing that this Dickhead, cunt, US mayor wanted to name his wife after a beautiful airport now a park. All i wanna say is she better be worth it fuck you Dick Daley You Bastard. R.I.P Meigs
