Hmmm. This was from last year. The chick did die at about a week old. It died on its own. He was eating, and muting, but he really didn't gain weight properly. We've mostly solved the egg breaking problem, but this pair seems to have a very low hatch rate. Especially compared to our old pair. Unfortunately, the female of the old pair died last year, at 15, of ovarian cancer. They have an egg in the incubator now, we hope since it was unbroken there will be a better outcome this time.
