@evildeathmonkey1 Me too! I have flown both in simulations, and if you´ve got no Air Defenses...........run. Both can easily wipe out an Armored division with a two-ship.
You can say one thing about both, good if you have them.......bad if the enemy has them!

@LupusAries I guess A-10 and SU-25 both have strong and weak points. Fact remains I don't want to be on the receiving end of either of them. Both are good and effective CAS planes. Seriously, I would shit myself seeing either of them coming after me :|

@saniok676 I do not mean the Cockpits Avionics, a Glass Cockpit is fine and good, the A-10C gets a partly one too. And it definately works. However i meant the View out of the Canopy, wich is much better in the A-10 since it has a buble Canopy and a Higher seat position. If you´re Flying CAS, its eyes out of the Cockpit, and there you can see much more out of the A-10 Cockpit. It also makes detecting a Missile launch much easier. The russian ruggedness however is legendary.

@saniok676 well its ineffective against the Frontal armor, but it is definately effective againt the side and rear armor. If a Pilot is smart he will always go for the side or rear. Well the Uranium is a Problem. However rockets are not that effective as You think, given that they are neither HEAT (shaped charge) nor a Kinect Penetrator. Against lightly armored targets they are effective, not however against a Main Battle Tanks.

@Mifodiy35 Hmm not against the A-10C that is one hell of a CAS aircraft. And lets not forget, the sight out of the A-10 Cockpit is definately much, much better. Wich counts alot at low altitudes. Still that capability increase was much needed.

Sure, if it comes to direct dogfight...
But in their special roles as CAS and tank killer, the A-10 is No. 1, I think! Cannon is more powerful, heavier weaponlead possible...and you need slow aircraft like the A-10 while working close with the ground troops. Su-25 is already too fast for that job in my opinion. But it's right, slower aircraft = better target.
