Wikipedia page defines felony as "a crime punishable by death or imprisonment in excess of one year".

Act of running may not be felony, but if you are violent, perhaps it elevates crime.

Running on the field is a felony and jailtime now adays.. Are you just guessing or did you read a source? Running on field is most definately a felony, $5000 fine and a night or two in jail.
