T. Boone Pickens is a self-made Texas oil tycoon and billionaire. He also sees the future need for oil substitutes. On Tuesday, November 24, 2009, Mr. Pickens was the special guest of Connecticut Congressman John Larson at a Public Forum inthe Goodwin College Auditorium, East Hartford, CT.
The subject was Mr. Pickens plan to offer a substitute fuel for all seven million diesel-fueled eighteen-wheelers, saving millions of barrels ol oil daily. His natural gas fueling plan might disconnect America from the unhealthy umbilical of mid east oil.
And then it might also be a scheme to tap into a limitless reservoir of Federal dollars. These so-called good intended plans always seem to have a catch.
The fact that Mr. Pickens believes in Al Gore's global warming scam, would tend to make one extremely wary of his own natural gas mania. Thus the title of the video...."Follow the Money" !.
T. Boone looked unhappy in the company of Mr. Larson. We think his buyer's remorse for backing Barack Obama for President has begun to set in!
