Did von say he suffers from Porphyria? That doesn't make him a vampire or one of Vlad's descendants. It just means his blood doesn't carry enough oxygen, which explains a great deal. Not enough O2 to his skin may = faster aging; to the brain, well, that goes w/o saying. It can also cause severe recession of gums, making the teeth appear longer, or fang-like. But it doesn't make him immortal or powerful (or a punisher).

@MrsCop I haven't read up on that condition (porphyria); re: Vlad, from memory, yes he impaled people but the vampire connection is a fiction attached to him by Bram Stoker.
