Okay, well we spotted our car, and I got out and verified it was our Cougar before I pressed record. After it was verified as our unit, we jumped over a curb in the apartment complex and drove on the grass, in order to get to the front of our car. We grabbed it and flew!

It was a good morning. Got up at 5:30... and in between 5:30 and 7:30, we popped 5 cars... and didn't step out of the truck once during any of the repos.

  • really? never saw them.... were they custom made by you guys or like AW Direct, or somethin??? Way back when I was green to repoing, I used to creep up to my hits and pop em open and linkage them and then roll up and grab them so I could hook and roll, but as time went on, I put the Kabosh on that and would just get a hook on them and do what I had to do... All the auto loaders went to that Dynamic design... I still miss using an Eagle.... much faster truck...

  • @repomannj Yeah, it was a tool we had crafter ourselves. Eagle claw is semi fast.. but not as effective. Hard to grab from angles and all that. This things so fast it doesn't make a difference. LOL

  • I have been a repo guy off and on for 20 years... NOTHING wrong with driving on a lawn if you are careful... definitely beats draggin a car, which has to be done alot. Back in the day, we used to do linkages and shit, now the only time we do that now is on RWD trucks or some of the other AWDs that tow in neutral to get them away from the scene... nice repo, dude. always good to get one that goes smooth.

  • @repomannj Thanks man! And yeah, same with us on the linkages! We used to have tools to pop FWD vehicles linkages through under the inner fender, but times have changed and they're much harder to do now. And yeah, we hate dragging cars out... too much noise! And if we don't have to get out of the truck other than to just VIN the car, then we're definitely not ;)

    Thanks again man!

  • that was nice. like how u chose to take the grass instead 0f dragging and having to re-hook

  • @TheSeshone1 Thank you! We take pride in finding ways NOT TO have to drag a car out. Too much noise, and takes too long sometimes!

    Thanks!

  • @xtothefifthpower here's the deal, you convince everybody in the country to park their cars at the dealershiip when they can't pay for them, and we will all be out of a job..... until then, we will provide a service that most don't have the balls to do.... find better things to do than hate where it is not needed....

  • I scope them out usually before I turn on the camera as well.... gotta check the VIN, and get a general idea of how you want to do it, and THEN.... turn on the camera....... doesn't make it staged...

  • that was about 5min Or Less To REPO that Car and That was cool anf Fast Good Work.

  • @blacko2323

Basically... this isn't a repo truck that can just be "bought."

We took a cab and chassis 09 Chevrolet 3500 HD, Vortec motor.

    And a MinuteMan HDH.

The MM is clutch pump driven. And specced out to our needs.

  • @repoman1777

Where can I buy a repo truck like yours?

    Thanks
