Too bad we are 16 trillion in debt, running a 1.6 trillion dollar deficit, and are currently adding over 100 billion dollars of debt a year. It would appear we don't have enough money to build a bridge like this. If going into debt will get you out of debt, then why are we 16 trillion dollars in debt? @jahellaspartan economically dependent nations are much less likely to go to war with each other. for example. As much as china and the US hate each other ideologically, they're so dependent on each other that neither side wants to show any genuine hostilities. As for who will profit from this project, obviously the contruction and operation of this bridge will bring jobs to hundreds of thousands. in producing the raw materials, to assembly to the staffing of the completed project.
