  • That type of net damages the fish. They are abrasive. Try a rubber netting material. Plus the rubber nets wont snag your rig.

  • @ytertyu that really varies depending on the location. A lot of places will have specific sets of rules/ regulaions. But the basic limit (In Oregon at least) is 2 per day just the same as salmon

  • is there any limit on how many you can catch and keep ?

  • best way to fish these steelies (in my opinion) are with spoons. I live in the area. everyday we hit the water we catch fish, i only use spoons now. just a thought for you guys.

  • I fished that river back in 06 with some buddies,but we didn't catch ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE to those monsters.Beautiful place, saw my first bald eagle there.
