Mary Ellis, who lived till 105! started her career at the Metropolitan opera and sang in several Novello productions. Her voice was superiour to that of Vaness Lee and Dorathy Dixon.. She sand wondefru;l duets with Olive Gilbert. There will never be a singer like her.Thank you!
