In my spare time, I'm something of a Minecraft artist - this video, however, is of a private server that I frequent, and only something around 8% of the video is actually mine. The footage is running at double speed (because half an hour of some guy wandering a minecraft world might get boring) and yes, there are a couple of potentially amateurish moments (like two collisions on the minecart rails, and you get to see me earning one of the in-game achievements). I just wanted to show everybody what's possible with a couple of years and 20+ people all collaborating on something together.

Facts about this video and its contents:
- The server is private in every sense of the word. I won't be handing out the address!
- I made the camera less nauseating by pressing F8 in game, which turns on what I've come to refer to as "Steadicam mode."
- Only around 65% of the stuff we've built is visible in this video. I deliberately skipped a few sections for the purposes of making this flow a little better.
- The cabin at the end was dubbed "Mt. Crumpet" - my brother discovered a landmass that reminded him of the mountain of the same name from How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
- The music is from Bejeweled 2. Skaven, the music's composer, says on his website that use of his music in free productions (such as this video for example) is perfectly okay as long as the music isn't altered.
- NathanR built pretty much all of the sky rail system.
- Yes, some of the things built on this server were made using materials summoned using op commands, especially the large amounts of glowstone (the lantern blocks). Deal with it.
- Some other things, such as the giant crater in the ocean towards the end of the video, were done using Cuboid Mod (back when it was still updated).
- Giga Burger was my idea.
- The giant glowing "GB" sign was not.
- The reason my cart suddenly diverts and runs into a wall is because of a lag-related malfunction in the "cart return" mechanism, which is designed to send minecarts back to the person who placed them if nobody is in the cart when it goes down the track. Since the rail system takes some skill to use, this is a handy thing - when it works.
- If demand is high enough, I may make another Odyssey video detailing some of the areas I did not have a chance to visit, such as the Derposseum, Insanity's Cape o' Crap, TriCity, Rhea, and Exl's castle (which you can see the rather elaborate elevated highway towards the middle of the video).
- The foot path I'm walking on (where you see Derp Tower and the Q*Bert tribute pyramid) was named the "Bob Ross Memorial Highway."
- The hot tub was named in honor of the late James Brown, inspired by a Saturday Night Live skit starring Eddie Murphy.
- My texture pack is a customized Painterly Pack, with most of the "modern" options selected (ovens as forges, white doors, subway tracks, etc).
- Recording and rendering in 1080p high definition makes this video roughly 1.5 gigabytes in size. I really hope someone enjoys this.
