Rudy Giuliani Blames Troops for Missing Munitions in Iraq.

"No matter how you try to blame it on the president the actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there. Did they search carefully enough? Didn't they search carefully enough?"

  • What would you have us judge him on then taxidriver? His pro-abortion views? His connections to the corrupt Bernie Kerik? The fact that his administration was considered an utter failure until 9/11? He's all hat and no cattle.

  • It's not the asking questions part, it's this part:

"No matter how you try to blame it on the president the actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there."

It's pretty clear what he meant.

  • What a piece of crap. Make Giuliani President and this is how he will treat our troops. The buck stops with the President, because he is the Commander In Chief of the military.

    I support Ron Paul.

  • yes by all means judge him on a edited 7 second clip.

  • I wish I could have seen a few more seconds of the clip so I could know the context of it.

  • He's screwed. This guy can't think for himself. All he does is spout the party line. I wish I could find the interview with him after the Kerry prez debate, it's like somebody was pulling a string in his back.

  • i guess this guy is just passing the blame away from his party leader, g.w. bush. this guy wants to be president of the USA? oh, i see it now. the white house is the victim and it has no power. the armed forces should have been more responsible.

  • I looked for 'em when I was there... Guess I wasn't looking hard enough.

  • Asking questions isn't quite the same as "blaming".
