Land Rover Owner (LRO)'s Mark Saville learns the art of skid control with the MoD at Leconfield. Read the full story in our February 2007 issue - on sale from January 7, 2006. www.lro.com
Did a great sideways skid in a bedford 4 ton once.. was chating not paying attention then had to break hard coz of car infront.. think the brakes wher too good on the back as the rear axle locked and I whent sideways down the road for a while with many people giving me bemuzed looks..
That's the point of the cage, it simulates road condition by changing the height of it to change the pressure on the wheels. Releasing the weight of the driving wheels will reduce grip and let the car into a skid, It's alot safer than putting water on the road.
No matter how much you put a Wolf on a Skid Dolley through, nothing is more acurate than being on Ops in extreme conditions. That's what seperates the CROWS from the Boys.
in canada we dont do this.....we wait for winter:D

no wonder modern army drivers suck arse, just do it like they did in the 1970's,
