  • @EmmaYaBasta Dude those Ibanez guitars of that era are mad.

  • i scream ice cream i scream X)))))

  • @beelzabubba that's part of their genius, working unpretentiously with little means (just look at bob's shitty guitar). same good be said for Jesus and Mary Chain and hundreds of others.

  • @gunnohd Since they legitimately covered it later, I don't think they can be correctly accused of ripping it off. At this point they had no recording deal and may not have even intended to go legit.

  • I've lived here all my life, my dad made a living as a bar musician for 35 years here, and yet I have no clue where the Longhorn was O_o

  • It sounds like the MTM theme meets the Byrds.Good song!

  • @Norks74 right again you are.... i think you've hit on somnething...... all of their songs may be THE SAME SONG!!!

  • @beelzabubba

The start, actually sounds like 'She's a woman and now he's a man' as well as 'Love is All Around'

'I can see her loading boxes in my mind.....'

  • gunnohd - correct... the chords on the verse are the same as "Love is all Around" - the MTM theme song that Husker also recorded.....

  • They were brilliant right from the beginning!
