Tapissary 101 offers a brief introduction to my invented hieroglyphic language. It traces the development from early stages in the late 70s to the present. The elementary grammar is covered with a quick and clear summary. This 10 minute film skims the surface of Tapissary. You will find more detail at tapissary.com

  • how did you organise all the pictograms?

I've been beginning one, but don't want to create a mess-

how did you organise your dictionary?

  • Ei. Your language is too difficult to write. :) I also thought that it was mathematical equiations. But nice job. Many people around the world are creating their own language. I dont know why.

  • @BasicInformation Hey. I watched your vid but you removed it. Why? It's about your language?

  • i used to think it looked like arabic or some kind of cursive script but now it seems to look a bit chinese or asian too. it's wonderful! I am pretty sure I emailed you about it a year or so ago about it it's very beautiful aesthetically and it seems to me that learning this would give you new perspectives (like with toki pona). congratulations on such a great invention.

  • I created my CHRISTIAN UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. IT IS CALLED TSONG CHIAN (The language of New Man and New Universe). I Hope i can post it in WEB

  • ĆŃ CPAĆA/CKRAĆA A DARI SWÉ DEI, ÄI DARI IYA KEN M. Знъ спаза/скраза а дари шуее дэй, 'ай дари ия кэн м. زن سبازا سكرازا ى داري شوآ دأي, عي داري ييا كن م.

This language/writing system is very beautiful, and very well thought through.

  • This is really interesting. The different forms of 'the' is especially fascinating.

  • GOOD WORK! and by the way your website rock!

  • I'm glad you have this up, it's very interesting. It's a good introduction to the language, and well put together.
