do you think you can do a tutorial on painting non metalic gold and silver because ive always wanted to try it but dont kno where to start
-
Could you tell me which colours you've used for the nmm gold please.
-
you can add brown wash to your gold or metal color and make it look like a bronze shoulder pad
-
AWESOME>> can't wait to see it. Thanks
-
what is the advantage to non-metallic metal?

nice job :D love it hihi (watch me 2 vids i have up)

if it clashes with the fur, i would just glaze the fur with some reddish brown. just to separate them.
but yeah, the paint jobs are looking nice! 5/5

Hey Chis. Very cool. 2 questions:
1)How did you "tone down" the colors on him as opposed to Lars
2)Have you or anyone you know ever successfully experimented with adding a bowstring to a bow? maybe fishing line, stretched glue strands, etc??? Just wondering.

Tone down to me simply means using more natural colors, not the bright fantasy style colors that I would normally use. Just more browns and greens and greys.
As for bowstrings, I have indeed successfully strung many bows. In fact, another really fun thing to do is to create little arrows as well to string onto the bowstring.
We will have a video coming out later this year that addresses it as it does indeed add a nice bit of flair to archer minis.

Uh, it might take a few vids. The cloak alone took about 2.5 hours...But, I might be able to do one after all these comps are over.
