“The world doesn’t disappear when you close your eyes, does it? My actions still have meaning, even if I can’t remember them. My wife deserves vengeance, and it doesn’t make any difference whether I know about it.”
“Do I lie to myself to be happy? In your case, Teddy... yes, I will.” What alternative did Lenny have to keep Teddy from continually using him as a killing machine?

1:56 tattoo on his heart that says " i've done it ".. but his wife is alive WTF
-
@keepcompletecontrol We never really know. Can we believe Teddy? It's difficult to say. Part of the movie is the unsolvable parts of the mystery. Just like Lenny, we have no way of knowing for sure what is true

3 people couldn't seem to remember why they disliked this video, lol

@keepcompletecontrol Yes, that is what the movie seems to imply. In fact, there is a scene in which Leonard tells how memory is unreliable. Eyewitness testimony is prone to error. He has conditioned himself to remember that Sammy Jankis was the one who accidentally killed his wife.
-
Just tell me one thing. When did Lenny kill the Real John G? Before He accidently killed his own wife? or After?
-
so what you're saying is that the last scene lying in bed with his wife and the tatoo on his chest is "not" real? does that mean Lenny didn't plan killing the rapist when she was alive? did he distort his memory after accidently killing his wife because of guilt?
-
@keepcompletecontrol No, just no. The wife and tattoo thing is a fantasy that he sees when he closes his eyes. He is not confused at all in fact. The fantasy represents everything he wants, but since his wife is dead, he can't get her back.

I've watched Inception and still find this movie far better. I can't believe that such incredible story can be made by just using 3 main characters and just 2~3 places where events occur.
Also the background music is excellent. All these elements fit so snug to make a perfect movie.
-
wait, what does that mean by "he's wife isn't back"? Wasn't he confused because he thought his wife was dead so he planned to kill the raper(who he thought killed his wife) and after killing, he put a tatoo on "I've done it" but he got confused because his wife was still alive?
I saw this movie yesterday, but I can't remember what it was about :D:D:D JK
