I thought it would be funny if Charlie Sheen had performed his web-streams "before a studio audience". Before getting bogged down in Final Cut to make this happen, I tried an iPad app, which can also be used on the Mac, called MOSO.
MOSO is a great app! It's primary use is to work with your iPad's/Mac's webcam but video/image/audio files can be imported as well. The big draw of MOSO is it's built-in library of animated graphics and sound effects that can be cued on the fly as video rolls live. And that's what you'll be watching with THE SHEEN MACHINE- I'm furiously hitting their graphic overlays and sndfx as I'm watching the video play and IT'S A LOT OF FUN! It reminds me of how tv shows were done in studio, live, where everything was done right then and there- no post. It's like how the news and SNL are done today- all on the spot and live on the air. MOSO records what you're doing and, after watching a preview of your handiwork, you then choose to keep the take or go back and do an entirely new retake from the top.
So, after just over an hour of opening the app for the first time, I give you THE SHEEN MACHINE show!
Its funny that he actually thinks he's speaking intellectually.
