  • is there something wrong with his right eye? :(

  • Several years ago, Oly had an inflamation of the right eye. It got worse very rapidly, and we had to have the eye removed. Today, at fifteen years of age, Oly is a happy and healthy dog, and he's doing very well on one eye. He can even chase a tennis ball through the trees—and has never hit a tree.

  • @3Mudbone1 No, they never fought with each other, they had small disagreements, but that's because they treated each other like a Pack and had a hierarchy system going on. Unfortunately, we are down to 4 now, I lost my Aussie to old age and kidney failure when she was 14 last year. As for peeing on things, accidents happen when they aren't let out on time at night, but they never do it on purpose.

  • @NekoRinRin With five do they ever fight or pee on things and in the house?

    I have six.

  • Our Aussie was 9 months old last Xmas, & we could not put up a tree because he would have had it down in 5 minutes! I hope this next Xmas we can put a tree up without him going crazy. Does anyone else have this problem? He's a really crazy dog, but he's so cute we forgive him.

  • We do the same thing with my Aussie mix Buddy he has his own stocking with a picture of him as a puppy on the front of it. I put 2 of his smaller gifts in it & I put the rest in boxes & wrap them & put 'em under the tree.=)

  • It's so great to see people with Aussies sharing their Christmas with them, we do it too. Each of our five (that's right I said Five) have their own stockings with their names on them for Christmas and when the big day arrives they each get to open their own stocking.

  • my blue used to do that to his xmas presents, i hope my new red will do it too!

  • Great! Happy Xmas Ole!
