which is worse, killing an asshole who rips you off and threatens you, or killing an unarmed civilian you don't even know because they happened to be standing where your CO told you to fire your weapon?
neither is a good thing, but there's some serious irony to the same institution that incarcerates a murderer also sends armies overseas to commit mass murder.
