Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats out Manny Pacquiao for 2010 ESPY Fighter of the Year award

The 18th annual ESPN ESPY awards went down tonight at the Nokia theater in downtown Los Angeles. As usual, the biggest sports celebrities converged in the most prestigious sports awards show.

2010's Best Fighter award, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was honored as ESPN's 2010 Fighter of the Year for his victories over Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley beating out fellow boxer Manny Pacquiao and UFC welterweight champion George St. Pierre.

The previous 3 awards were split between boxers Pacquiao and Mayweather with Pacquiao winning it in 2009 and Mayweather in 2007 and 2008.
