How could anyone have anything negative to say?! I was searching as we wait for my mum's implant to be switched on (sudden hearing loss aged 63). My uncle who was also born deaf and consequently because it was the 1940's before this technology was available, he was dumb. I have seen how isolating deafness can be and what a cruel disability it is to live with. Shame on anyone who judges you for giving your son a chance to integrate fully with friends, family and society.

I don't know who, or why anyone would challenge your decision. I am glad I haven't seen any of those comments. What I do know is this is amazing, and wonderful, and I'm so happy I got to see a little bit of your Joshua's journey. It's just brilliant! He's a beautiful child, and he's going to do great, great things in this world! Many blessings!!!
