@threepeater - Mitch Mitchell from the Experience was on drums, and Billy Cox from Band of Gypsies was on bass guitar.

@threepeater That's Billy Cox on bass, Miles was/is a drummer.

This is one video where I noticed he had one member of the Experience and one from Band of Gypsies. Mitch Mitchell and Buddy Miles I think. Pretty cool.

:) What planet were you from, Jimi?

I wish my pops would have made it long enoupgh to see some youtube he would went bat shit crazy over this. RIP Terry D. McClure. Farmer,Veitnam vet, good dad, best freind of mine. im drunk and reminising. He loved the shit out of Jimmy Hendrix even if he was farmer from the blue ridge of N.C.

I love this. One reason is because his guitar doesn't sound like one. It does sometimes, but his guitars mostly sound like other instruments, mixed with other strange, otherworldly sounds. And he's always improvising, so no two performances are ever the same. His sound was always living a growing in and outside of him. That's why I love Hendrix.
