since i was making it for myself, i added a few things like cumin powder, chilli powder, green chillies, bay leaf and cumin seeds - and it turned out excellent!!! you can call this the adult version i suppose!

since i am expecting, i have this khichdi everyday for lunch. very healthy and nutritious! thanks again and keep the videos coming!
