I saw Imaad Wasif last night in Kansas City (4/8/10) opening for Dead Meadow and all I can say is, Good Lord! I am a fan of Dead Meadow, but this guy blew them off the stage and everyone there would attest to that. This guy put on one of the best performances I've seen in many years and I have been going to Rock shows since '79. This guy is someone to watch and this is an awesome song. His drummer is pretty wicked, as well.

I hear Imaad is going to open some dates on the New Pornographers' upcoming tour. He will be in nearby Lawrence, Kansas, for a show coming up, so I'll get another chance to see him live pretty quick. Can't wait.......

I saw these guys last week they opening for Dead Meadow. Gotta say they rocked the joint, I actually thought they made the show that much better, much respect.
