    I cut the video early. Bill had a .22 on board, and shot the shark many times. They needed it dead before they wanted to go near it.

  • wish i seen every hook with a halibut on my long line gear...

  • doing a great job of making halibut just a memory.

  • I love those sets. Its difficult to convey how much focus and intensity is needed to get every fish. In the case of the shark, usually u end up having to cut them in half in order to free up the gear.

  • just to let you know, that was a salmon shark, amazing, and this was in siberia?

  • That's heavy fishing, I liked the video, you would break less gear if you twisted some of those fish instead of tearing the hooks out. That's lame you shot the shark though, that's what gaffs are for, its not going to shoot you, just don't stick your dick in its mouth.

  • wow those are small halibut, i didn't think small ones like that were allowed to be kept, maybe its different in other areas
