@Hotrodgringo Didn't even bother reading the rest thoroughly, as it just seems like more unfounded praising of american cars like "we made more advancements like you" and etc., even though you couldn't provide with a list of advancements made by each country. Also, this argument is as meaningless as any other argument on the internet, obviously none of us is going to admit being wrong, especially with such reasoning.

@Hotrodgringo Yes, I mean jumping little cars on dirt. Little production cars suited to skimp through any track possible, not some oversized loud piece of junk only suited for a 400m straight track. Same goes with your plastic Nascar cars that merely resemble production vehicles, used in driving an oval track a million times. I also mean formula, drifting, touring, slalom and everything else involving perfect control of your car instead of driving the same fixed trajectory over and over again.

You do realize that it is a thousand times more efficient to throw away the unnecessary weight, put in an efficient engine and still get damn good acceleration instead of putting a 30l/100km eating v8 into a three ton tractor? Fuel is expensive here.

@iLoveEatingPie ...Not like in Britain where you practicaly need to be knighted to enter an auto race your lordship. What have we Americans done for the world with automobiles? Started by perfecting mass production, producing millions of a car while the rest of world built each one by hand. Henry Ford brought out the first "peoples car". Since then U.S. auto manufacturers made more innovation, inventions, and advancements to auto industry than any other country.

We have consistantly produced the drag cars that break every drag race record. And how did we getting into our racing? By our everyday home garage gearheads tooling on their own cars during the week and racing them on the weekend. In a land where anyone can race. ....

Something about how you said "There is a reason you dont see much American cars in worldwide motorsports" You mean jumping light little cars in dirt? Started with the little crap cars that Americans were introduced to during the oil crisis of the 70's. They've been here ever since for anyone who cares about their MPG. Americans who want horsepower just cant find that in foreign cars because those manufacturers rely on light weight for their cars to accelerate. .....

That's all you americans buy because you can't see further than your nose, no wonder you can't see any german old timers. Do you know how many american cars are driven around here? Next to none. You can buy those cheaper than european/japanese production, but it's common knowledge that they're trouble. Get your facts straight, no point in trying to prove your made up statements wrong.

@iLoveEatingPie Mexico and central america almost completely consists of American Cars, along with South America and Canada. German vehicle companies such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Volkswagon, and Porsche are the wealthiest companies in the world because they produce inexpensive vehicles with poor quality masked by shiny plastic to the common consumer. I rarely see old germans over 150,000 miles still running.
