@nogoodnameleftforme It's never said that she was the mother. Fans assume that that bump has something to do with the mother, because it's utterly meaningless otherwise, but it's more likely that it's either a complete red herring or she was a friend of the mother's....Unless they *want* us to think that, so if she really is the mother it's a shock o_o

@Instylew And their relationship wasn't remotely like Ross and Rachel's either. Exhibit A: Ross was in love with Rachel since ninth grade and never hinted at his feelings until Chandler let it slip. Ted saw Robin for the first time from across the bar, fell head over heels, asked her out immediately, and then told her he was in love with her after only knowing her a few hours. And the massive differences just INCREASE from there.

@ragna120k But it does. It's somewhat offensive since its used to describe people with Down's, but its still used to describe people of Mongolian or East Asian descent.

This is nothing like Rachel and Ross because it's common knowledge on the show that Robin is NOT the mother so she doesn't end up with Ted.
