The final Samson show.
Following on from this, Paul and Nicky recorded a new album with the provisional title of "Brand New Day", with Ian Ellis and John McCoy on bass, and Billy Fleming on drums.
The cd was posthumously released as a Paul Samson release called "P.S....".
Long term road manager/tech Rob Grain has unearthed some undiscovered multitracks of these sessions, and is currently remixing them for a possible re-release.

  • Thank you! I'm really excited to see the video! Super, super excited !

I have not seen many interviews with Mr. Paul Samson, and the band, and I really enjoyed it.

I was deeply touched when I heard the first notes of Vice Versa in this live version, and the images of Paul to 02:40. It is an amazing feeling. I said ...wow, this is what I call music !!!

I remember the first time when I heard/seen these notes live. Many memories...I feel that I can relive the magic of that time.It is amazing.

  • @Ancutzamica1 I have the complete show on multiple cameras. Hopefully one day I will get it edited together and put it on here.

Thank you for your kind words.

  • It's more years than I care to remember since Paul and I worked together in REFUGEE and his death was too untimely. I will always miss the great times we had but the memories will never fade. (Slim Haines - Drummer in Refugee)
