Actually, the album version of this song is much better. This sounds kind of sluggish.

This is the all time classic blues trio!
Johnny Winter, Uncle John Turner, Tommy Shannon. Unc told me that when they toured Europe in 1967 that many of the greats came to the shows to check Johnny out. Tommy once told me that Jimi Hendrix came to see them in New York and asked to set in on bass. Tommy handed him the same bass he is playing in this video, Jimi flipped it upside down and played it expertly.

FenderXII through an Orange halfstack. SWEET. At about 3:50 he hits it with the slide and no offense but it's like, Duane who? And that's saying a lot.

I'm so old I saw Johnny in !970 at the 1st Atlanta Pop Festival at the Race Track. Out of the 80K there I was one of the prob/ 75K who had never heard of him. He leaped over a row of Super Reverbs, on about the 4th bar all 80K stood up, mouths opened--and the power went off. Happy ending tho. Came home and found the only 3 albums out. Really guess you had to be there.Peace.

Thanks for a pleasant reply, but I was corrected by a friend that the Festival I responded on was in "69. The '70s Atlanta festival was a 300,000-400,000 "hippie" blowout and Johnny was there with Johnny Winter And(Rick Derringer.) I wish you could have been there!!! Bless you, keep on pickin'.Peace
