Well, surprise, surprise, Bush and Cheney lie a lot. This is quite a revelation. Only the most insecure, power trip, white supremacists, think Bush and Cheney did a good job. To them, anything that demeans an opponent, is a good thing. They are the ones who never grew up and never stopped whining; they are bullies.

I dont put alot of trust into lawmakers and regulators to come up with "REAL" consumer protection.. watching how many politicians and these individuals recieve massive sum's of cash from these lenders which only leads me to believe the proposal of more regulation only protects large corporations from being effected by these "Rules" ..

Except that we needed MORE regulation in the financial sector. Deregulation (and lack of honesty and ethics) brought us to this economic disaster.

In many ways, the disaster resulted from the lessons at Harvard Business School ( and other MBA schools) during the late '60s, '70s, '80s, and into the '90s. (Geo W Bush, HBS '75.)

Though their shift wasn't to the far right of the political spectrum.. it was actually a shift towards the left.. no other republican president has EVER spent the kind of money bush and his fellow republicans have.. I'd consider a far "Right" movement being more like a Ron Paul whom I support.. Less government nanny state, less spending, less war, less less less... with less it directly relates to more more more for us the individuals, more money, more civil rights, more Freedom. more Jobs.
