@zaleenaabdullah "Only Singaporean themselves could have the right to make jokes like this " lmao, I guess non-Americans can't make jokes about Americans, and non-Chinese shouldn't be allowed to make jokes about Chinese? And really, can you explain what he said was actually false? The Singaporean government is extremely strict. It is a nice country which achieved a lot, but it does not change the fact that the government is extremely controlling.

Frightening to be there?!? don't ever come back again.

i'm singaporean and i really don't care that he's inaccurate about his observations, he's a comedian and his job is to exaggerate and twist stuff around to make them funny. too bad he's not funny at all though :( i wish kathy griffin would come here and make some jokes about singapore haha that would be funny

@TitWarlord can't buy BUBBLEGUM. There are other types of gum too, like Nicotine gum. Anyway, you can just bring it in from Malaysia or Indonesia with you
-
@rockingrugger how could u buy it if u can't sell it?
-
be more open, seriously. how is it in anyway insulting? his claims and jokes actually do make sense. compared to most other countries, singapore is considered really really strict, that is why he is not used to our rules and regulations here
Okay, i live in singapore (I'm british).
He doesn't seem to know very much about singapore, but at the same time, his main ideas about the country aren't wrong. They're just way overexagerated.. Like gum isn't illegal in singapore, you can buy it pretty easily in fact! However, it's illegal to SELL Bubblegum, because in the past when it was legal, people would just spit it out on the sidewalk, like they would in the US or the UK. As a result, singapore has really clean, gumless pavements
