Berg starts the Flirty Fishing thing. Women get knocked up by strangers. They have a collection of babies with no real connection to them. Berg promotes "tribal families" making these children even more alienated. And then a few years goes by and he says suddenly that sex with children is alright. Tell me that he did not have this all planned out well before Flirty Fishing even began. Burg and the higher up were sick beyond imagination....diabolical to be exact.

The Bible is only inaccurate if you believe you have to take every word literally. If you took every word I, or anyone else, has said literally then you might have a very inaccurate understanding of what we mean. There are Bible scholars that help us in this area. Try Catholicism, it's pretty good in the area of understanding God's Word.

@bill0756 Rubbish most mainstream churches are very sexually repressive because they believe that God hates all sex outside marriage! I know I attend church every week! I know quite well about their hate filled bigoted views. By the way I have also read the Bible and it actually does not clearly state that sex outside marriage is wrong. The Bible is open to interpretation but most churches interpret it as being anti-sex. That is one of the reasons I am considering leaving christianity.

Berg at essence is a selfish person who orchestrated a system to serve his ends(sex with whoever he wanted, apparently including children). To help himself and others deal with it, he engineered labeled everything he did as love(caring).

Most "conventional" churches don't say you will burn in hell for having premarital sex. The emphasis on sex within marriage is a practical concern(it's a most efficient societal behavior) expressed as a religious law. Masturbation is a tangent, and again the effect of religious laws against masturbation are not to eliminate it but rather emphasize sex within marriage leading to the pair bonded raising of children. In short, while you're jacking off a muslim is gaining market share.

Isn't what most conventional churches teach far worse though? That you cannot have sex until you are married and if you do then you will burn for ever in hell and that even masturbation is a grave sin that will send you to eternal hell. Why can't people see that all churches are cults who brainwash people with bullshit?

@manuingiro I believe that some were lucky enough to be brought up well...but have you read Kristina Jones, Celeste Jones and Juliana Buhrings book, Not Without My Sister? It states clearly that from when they were born, in the '70's to when they broke free, their lifes were a living hell.
