CoCoa was in heat, and was rearing up earlier when she was tied in the
stall, she broke her halter trying to get to her BFF brew (that horse
that she gets to sniff), she was becoming very dangerous in the stall
so we made this cross tie thing, it was totaly safe so no worries

  • i agree its separation anxiety. the fact she was in heat made her more alert and thus more spooky (because she was somewhat scared) so horses find safety in numbers. when you left she felt venerable and was moving around to get a better view of what was around her (aka if there was any predators) and pawing is a sign of anxiety. many ppl say pawing is a sign of anticipation well that is a form of anxiety so it falls under that. the horse was anxious for you to get back so she'd feel safe.

  • i seriously dont get why somany people have a problem with this, my morgan got so upset when I took my mare out for a trail, and when I came back I found that he tried jumping a 4.5 ft electric fence, and even worse it as the kind made of big metal squares, so all four feet got in them and tangled around them, he fell, broke the post, got his face tangled in it and the halter stuck, when i approached him he was still struggling and there were sparks flying everywhere, even wors iwashomealone, i

  • had to sedate him with con. velarian and it took me 4hrs to just get his feet loose, and i couldnt get his halter off because the tention was so tight, so i tried cutting the ring and it wwas to thick and i wasnt strong enough, so i had to take a hammer and keep hitting the holders on the wire cutters, that worked and then i took my horse tootsie with a tow rope from my dads truck and harnessed her and put it be tween his legs and slowly inch by inch drag him away

  • then it was getting dark and I assessed his wounds and he was bleeding badly from both back legs so I called my neighbor and she came down and helped me take care of it and gave me a weeks orth of meds for him, then he wasn’t getting up when the wear off time was well over, he was alert and awake but wouldn’t get up, that scared me worst. And this sounds cruel but we were worried about his body getting damaged so my neighbor got a crop and gave him 1 sharp lick on the back side

  • and guess what! He got up, went over to the water trough and got a drink and rolled, we caught him and hosed his legs off with cool water, and put him in the small square pen and gave him mash with his meds in it and lots of hay, within a few days he was givin a clean bill of health and was let back out into the regular pastures again!

  • Just give here more a attention an get her out more even just a lead out to graze she need someone to bond with <3

  • be nice to her dont kick sand at her its not going to help it will make her more mad and scard

  • cont'd from last.

You're embarrassing Australia with your show of illiteracy, all the while calling others "stupidd".

You're adding support to the view overseas which sees Australia as "backward" and "stepping back in time". Those are the words of the ex-CEO of Telstra, an American who ended up going back after a disappointing innings with uncooperative colleagues. And he's not "stupidd" by any means, having gotten a business degree with many real world successes before Telstra.
