A friend of mine gave me two homemade cassette tapes of LK in the late '80's, and I couldn't believe my ears. I thought John Prine was great 'til I heard Leo. Saw him here in Atlanta several times over the next few years, then just had to listen to those cassettes 'til they wore out. Being able to watch all the YouTube clips is beyond fantastic. Thanks for all these posts! He remains in a class of his own.

He is the ONLY one! His style is unmistakable. Used to listen to him in college in Flagstaff
Arizona. Love it now as much as then. Truly A master of his art.

sorry, forgot to add a smile, just implying that one up there must be LK 3.0.2
and/but we sure do love them all
:)
all the best

@giorgiopicker Yeah, I shouldn't have said it that way. I love Leo's playing now as much as I did when we were both younger. But his style has changed somewhat. Comes with age I guess, more mellow.

Thanks for posting. One of the last things I was able to do with my dad was see Mr. Kottke live. This video really hits a nerve with me. His skill at the instrument and his overall talent as a performer have few peers. He applies so much craft to each aspect - I'm awed. Wonderful!
Thanks for posting! What a great show. This is a gem.
