to constableman: funny how boxers also train with a punching bag which is STATIC ;) but it doesnt mean that bhoxing is useless when a person is moving does it? Also bare in mind that is just a class, therefore the teacher is just showing things... And moreover if the oponent moves, you follow him, that is not very hard: you just have to move your legs...

@minasz When i finally got out of jail they would not give me the cctv footage, it would have definatly proved Wing Chuns effectiveness in a street fight. GBH against two 100 Kg bouncers and I am 70 kg skinny guy. Also while inside the system proved itself many times over in the 3 yrs i was locked up , i am white with no gang affiliations. give the Yip Man system a miss and look for internal style i can vouch for it with my life.

That all right and you should stick to this attitude. I like real wingchun (not that wc above), because its a scientific method, which could be explained up to the smallest movement. Its made for weak and meek people, to handle bigger and stronger aggressors in real street situations. Nowadays, people who talk about wingchun are talking about BruceLee. Most of that wc-masters would not survive ten seconds with a goon jumping on to them! I do WT for 12 y and its still the dog bullocks!

@11Kralle I dont believe in this kind of hocus bogus techniques. Its too flashy and looks good in movies maybe but in a real situation when its all about kill or be killed mentality and everything goes fast and with power I dont see this kind of kung fu trapping work. Yes wrestlers are very dangerous, that why I always say if you wanna be a real fighter you should know three things. Boxing, Kicks to the groin and groundgame. The rest is Hocus Bogus!

It isnt real, its a training situation, where pupils and a teacher doing their drills! That kind of video, you asking for does not exist (as far as I know). I hope you agree, if i tell you that it must be more than a video, which could proof effectiveness of a fighting-system to someone like you. Vids can give you an impression of a persons skills but not the reality-check. My advice ask people, who fought on the street about their most feared adversaries (I bet they´ll say: wrestler)!

I find it not sooo correctly, but this video shows at least someone, who isnt actually a shame for the wingchun-system.

This kind of techniques will NOT WORK! Im not hating, really im not..but people say this is real and will work then please show me one video of all those thousends and thousends of video s here on youtube that can proof these kind of techniques work in real fighting (full speed) or even in sparring ( half speed). I believe this looks only nice in movies.

is a no no as 3rd form teaches how to use the elbow without becoming cho kil AND eliminating the ability to followup when countered! It also turned him to not be able to use the left hand without turning again. That is a problem with most kung fu and karate and one of the trademarks of what NOT to do in Wing Chun.
I mean what I say and have many videos to explain these in the context of the physics that makes wing chun unique. I do though, mean these comments respectfully and hope you agree.

Clearly Sifu Ng is doing a great job! Some things I would do differently. for instance at .18 a skilled opponents right hand would not just collapse and the left hand is left unguarded completely as if it could not deliver a death blow.
At .19 and .20 again, the arm is ignored as if it didn't exist. At .32 his block goes way off to the side, even blocks should use forward movement not sideways. It's like throwing someone out the window.. and going with them. Use of the elbow at .36 is a no no..
loved this video, excellent knowledge of little used hands in wing chun... best was the lock up using tan sau at 0.34... REAL deep, deep, thorough and comprehensive understanding of the art ng chun has... I hope when I come and visit and hong kong he would accept me to train with him during my stay... I'd camp on the doorstep and beg! 5*'s all the way

Thanks bknives for you appreciation of Sifu's skills. The primary purpose of posting Sifu's clips is let people know that there is an alternate way of using Wing Chun, or as we would like to call it - the way as it was taught my Yip Man or the 'hands of the olden way'.
Sifu welcomes anyone with a genuine desire to learn Wing Chun. Please contact us direct is you're interested.
