I usually despise "fan" trailers (since searching for trailers is largely about historical appeal,) but this is obviously better than the boring-assed original one. "Hip Hop Bond" music is terrible, but whatever.

Incidentally this film also represents the best interpretation of Spectres boss. Blofeld. I know you cannot see him but that makes him all the better. The voice rings out "I am in charge" and ruthless with velety, rich tones. Those were the days when fans didnt have to be shown the actual villain. Subsequent attempts to actually show Blofeld have all been very disappointing, especially in You Only Live Twice, where the figure is like some joke caricature from a spoof film.

From Russia With Love remains my favourite Bond (Sean Connery) movie. Closer to being a real Spy film than the others and more down to earth. It is Connery/Bond at his best demonstrating all of the terrific traits that made Connerys Bond more special than all the others.

Excellent trailer.

It mixes in the charm of the 60s with the high tech FX of the 2000s.

Too bad 007 now is mostly the high tech and has all but lost the traditional charm. Things were bad enough with Brosnan, but now you have that guy who looks like the KGB agent in this film, with all the dazzling personality of a SPECTRE provocateur.

That's showing these are now mediocre times. Even James Bond, the best you had in pure fiction (in the real world, MI6 is a pit of hell), is to be debased.
