  • I'm restoring a 1952 Triumph tiger T100. Only need two parts to get it working, the engine covers from the left side. Do you know where I can get some?

This video was posted a while back, how is your motorcycle now?

  • thats great hope to see some video of it, sorry but i have no idea were u can get those parts i just ask dad. also im in australia so ive got no idea were u can get some in ur area, the tiger 100 has been loosely re-assembled to get all my small projects out of the way first because i found out restoring3 motorbikes and making a bantam minibike is a little to hard

  • if you weren't so far away i'd give you a hand. what mark is it?looks like a unit construction one, is it?

  • its a 1962 tiger 100ss, and yes its a unit construction one

  • hey im wanting to find an old tiger to resotre also, probably a t-90 or t-100 but i guess its more whatever i can find. just wondering where you think i should start looking to find one and also an estimated cost of the project.. i live in melbourne and i'd love to see your bike some time

  • MANTAEPPPPPPPP

  • It's funny, my T100 was imported from Australia :) I have family there! :P

I've taken lots of photos as I was disassembling the bike but no videos. I'll try and get a camera so I can record some of the restoring action.

My story is more or less like yours, the motorcycle is in the garage for more or less 18 years, the parts are impossible to find in Portugal, so I'm looking abroad!

  • I hope you keep videoing and posting your progress, I have done a Triumph car,(see my videos) I also have a Tiger 110 from 1962 pre unit waiting to be started, good luck.
