Does anyone else have the problem on the Medium difficulty setting where if you are under siege and you are outnumbered a great deal but you still have a good chance to win if they attack your walls (because of your archers and wall defences) they don't attack your walls? They just drop the siege equipment and wait for me to come out and get myself killed rather than die of boredom. It's so stupid.

This has been around since Rome , i don't know if it's in the newer total war games though .

It's happening right now. I used alt-tab to see if I got any messages and I'm about to check with the game again. When I started a new Irish campaign yesterday the same thing happened but on a much smaller scale and it just called the battle a draw.

This is happening because you are attacking them while they are sieging you , you must wait for them to start the attack .

Yeah, I usually play Scots on the hardest difficulty. Was just playing on all hard difficulty modes on my Total war Scottish campaign with all of Europe and bordering countries. I have over 120,000 florins in that campaign and am defending my self with 0 allies against England, Spain, Portugual and Denmark simultaneously.

I prefer the Scots myself. I could never get around Ireland's playstyle, but the Scottish infantry heavy forces were right up my alley. Pike walls backed up by Claymore wielding nobles to counterattack with those huge charge bonuses. Fantastic at breaking Sieges as well.

You should have been there for one of the England campaigns I played. Those brave men at Newcastle Upon Tyne (about 5 units) kept on defeating the Scots. Few of them ever died, and they fought against armies of 15 units every time. By the way that was a quote from the Wales, probably my favourite faction.

I think this song is just called "Destiny" on the official soundtrack.

The credit song "We are one" just uses it as a backdrop.

Thanks. I figured it had had something to do with that.
