  • Hey. Fried twinkies aren't made that way. You need to coat the twinkie in a batter made of * 1 cup milk * 2 tablespoons vinegar * 1 tablespoon oil * 1 cup flour * 1 teaspoon baking powder * 1/2 teaspoon salt

This is enough for six Twinkies. And make sure to chill or freeze the Twinkies overnight. You would first mix the oil, milk, and vinegar. And separately blend the flour, baking powder, and salt. then whisk the dry mixture into the wet. Then put it into a deep fryer.

  • COOL, I had no idea it was so indepth. I just fry them up in organic oil and drain, then eat! I will try you recepe. Thanks. Everyone I show it too and taste it, says it's great. I love how we can do so much with Twinkies. Thanks for great comment.

  • oh you nasty ass mother fucker lol

  • gross

  • And I forgot to say this. let me know how it turns out. Better yet, upload a video of the end results. If you cant upload a video, then its okay. But it would be really awesome if you did.

  • No problem. Im happy that i was a help. When i saw that you were so excited over just a fried twinkie made incorrectly, I couldn't help but tell you it was wrong. lol. If you liked that you would just scream after trying it made the correct way. Because of you, i decided to make some today. YUM.

  • How do I know this? I nevr tried i but thats the recipe from a store nearby me in nyc. Plus Im a self-taught 17 year old gourmet chef who's first thing to learn to cook wasn't eggs or bacon but lobster thermidor. Im actually one of the best cooks in my family. And rule #1 Batter is essential. You cant just fry it.

  • To make it to die for, use a berry sauce made of * 1 10-ounce jar of seedless raspberry preserves * 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries

you have to heat the preserves in a saucepan, then add the berries (fresh or frozen) after it melts. Then heat until it simmers. After that cover the sauce and refrigerate. YUMM!

  • The deep fryer has to be at least 375 degrees with 4 cups of vegetable oil. An essential thing to do before deep frying is dusting the twinkies in flour. When you put the twinkies in, they will float so hold them down with a utensil. deep fry until golden for 3 to 4 minutes.

You should also cut the Twinkies into four before deep frying to give a taste reminiscent of French donuts.
