  • i was saved in 1983 and this was one of the first contemporary songs i heard and now at 47 yrs. old it still brings tears as The Spirit of God moves within and without me and helps me

still as it did then...................in my time of need! His Hammer........

  • And your living under bondage. I pray God will take the veil from your eyes and you will see the truth in Jesus' mighty name.

  • No idea what the heck was going on at the beginning of this tune, but once he kicked it in, it was brilliant. Gotta love Russ!

  • in the 80s in Hawai'i, at a church in Kalihi on O'ahu was a Gospel group called Advent, they did this song the group were made up of 2 guys Mitch Kanekoa and Sam Amodo and several women and they could sing. Mitch sang this song and he did it a good job. this song has blessed so many people throughout the world. it's an Christian Anthem, so easy to feel the Holy Ghost when you listen to this song. Russ Taff is awesome!!! great post.

  • I love it

  • @BINATANGPINOY

The background singers are women wearing skirts. What is your problem? Learn to listen to the Spirit and leave legalism behind.

  • This song and Russ Taff really are anointed. Do you notice how many times he says, "Remember, Satan is a liar." I feel like God is speaking directly to me! Amen!

  • God has annoited Russ Taff !! I first saw The Imperials in 1980 in Bend Oregon and at that time in my life (I was 15) I was living in a very dysfunctional family, alcohol, abuse, etc and when I heard this song....I believed!! I knew then I was somebody and that my life would be great!! Praise God for groups like The Imperials who obey God and minister to people who are desperate like I was!! I am saved since 1984 now and have 3 grown girls and we broke the chain of abuse with ME!!!!

  • wish i had this song back in 1983 or 1985

  • Who cares what people are wearing? This is stirring music! Who even notices the clothes?
