Fishburne in Boyz N The Hood seemed like 1 of the best father-figures from any movie in history...very realistic, smart, caring, and teaches discipline and knowledge.
i cant think of 1 father in any movie that could compare to his role in that movie.

@mhaze210 I can. Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird. Those two are the best movie dads period!

Is there anyway I can get that awesome beat from you? I sampled it and made a good copy, but was wondering if there was a better full version.

So much for Black women saying they don't need a man. Don't care if their boys go to prison.

@xpectz A friend of mine who used to live in Chicago said the powers that be,to protect the financial health of the mom and pop places, have pretty much kept the chains out of there. She said they just got Chick-Fil-A there recently.

I like what he says about the liquor stores. I can relate that same logic he used with fucking fast food chains. They're endless where I'm from, but when I visited Manhattan? From uptown to downtown I only saw like 2 mcdonalds and 1 kfc and a lot of deli joints and restaurants. Maybe there's a few more.
High class areas don't get that much of the "garbage" in general.
I know the second part is Boyz in the Hood, but does anyone know what movie the 1st parts from?
