In this 1987 episode of Hollywood Squares, champion Heidi is now faced against Kurt. A new rule: third rounds are now worth $1,000, and squares in case time runs out are $200, to play instant catch-up. The stars in the squares are Wil Shriner, Alf, princess Zsa-Zsa Gabor, Brandon Tartikoff, Jim J. Bulloch, Kim Fields, Ed Begley, Jr., Emma Samms, and announcer Shadoe Stevens. John gets so mixed up with the first question, between commercial breaks, other game show hosts try to help him out, like say in this clip...Dick Clark and Bob Eubanks

Hullabaloo was the name of a theater in Hollywood. I read that in the mid-60s, it was named for a Los Angeles DJ, Dick Hull I believe. From the late 50s to the early 60s it was called the Moulin Rouge, and was home to the show "Queen For a Day" with Jack Bailey. It was later renamed the Aquarius Theater, where "Star Search" originated from in the 80s. I believe Chevy Chase did his short-lived talk show from there as well.

Whoa... Gordon Shumway, better known as ALF in the upper left. I came to this show back in 1986 BECAUSE it was a game show, but that Melmackian, with his ever-innovating presence was the reason I stayed glued to the show! He, besides Shadoe, was the Best! Square! EVAR!!!11 :D

I'm no football fan (unlike my stereotypical beer-guzzling deadbeat dad who walked out on my mother over a year ago), but I do watch a few games every now and then.

@VikutaaChyaaruzu - or these days "Sunday Night Football." Used to watch "Deal or No Deal" in its 2 seasons (but grew tired of it due to its increasngly inane gimmicks) and "1 Vs. 100" w/ Bob Saget.
