The inhabited coral atolls of Kiribati, Tokelau, and Tuvalu are already experiencing rising sea levels as a result of climate change. In front of the Giant Squid exhibit, dancers from Tokelau provided an impromptu Warrior Dance. The dancers and musicians were in the U.S. to demonstrate their deep connection to nature and their ancestral past and raise awareness about climate change. They come to inspire us all to be better stewards of our shared planet. See: http://waterisrising.org and http://oceandoctor.org

  • wow where is ths .

  • Well data is one thing..... living there and seeing the changes is a totally different matter. Oh well seeing as you don't live there you wouldn't know!!!

  • Actually, the sea level data for these islands is quite clear, there has been no increase in sea level at all around Tuvalu over the past 20 years.

Not that you want to let facts get in the way of a good sob story...

  • Restriction of tourist travel to these island nations should be imposed so we can elevate some of the suffering caused by are having to hear their CAGW nonsense. Read what Nils-Axel Mörner has to say about pacific islands and rising sea level.
