@ikeballer0717 Yes, but make sure you are properly supervised, use perfect form and technique, and use an appropriate weight... make sure you check out my other videos on this channel too!

do the players lift every day? and if you don't know do you reccomend lifting every day or every other day?

No, they don't lift every day... nor would I recommend that. That will cause overtraining. 2-3 well planned full body workouts is plenty (on non successive days).
