Because if we don't we will find ourselves sitting in a jail cell. I was lucky enough to get a 140 mph warning ticket about 2 months ago. I lucked out because the cop's radar locked onto the car I was passing rather than my car. He told me that because of that he had to give me a warning. Otherwise I would have been in jail for sure.
