I wrote this on the porch out the front of Berkman House in Austin, Texas, on a hot, hot summer night.
Berkman House is an old wooden place owned by Mr David Dale who kindly put myself, Liz Green and Alabaster De Plume up when we played at SXSW Festival in 2009.
I had been listening to alot of John Fahey and Ravi Shankar at the time, after my good friend, Christopher Paul Stelling gave me a bunch of John Fahey records whilst i was in New York doin some shows. Changed my world forever!
Outstanding work John. Right up there with Obnox Stomp. Energy, virtuosity, passion, amazing. Your fluency make it look so easy, but the guitars I bought as a result of seeing you at Solfest last year have explained to me just how hard it really is!

Nice one. Great video. It felt like i was in the room with a pint and some bangers and mash. Great track.

Hi John.... that was good! Your mum sent me the link and I enjoyed it here in Australia in Saturday morning. Keep up the good work. Ian (painter in 'high country' NSW)
