Incredible- great job on both ends. And a great match up as well. When the spear switched to full reach i was half expecting the dual hooks to make the 6ft link.

Really cool, normally I'd expect hook swords to whoop spear since they could just disarm him or break his spear immediately, but he was really skilled and did better than I thought.

@ishimorikuma answer: yes they did, in fact it was one of the most popular shaolin monk weapons along with the rope dart and staff or spear, as well as to a lesser extent the chain whip.
