As a Career FF on a large metro dept. and a FF on a rural VFD with almost 30 years on, I think I'm qualified to say that jasonfeeley is a sorry POS. Good Job MFD!! Yeah, maybe you could've looked a bit more polished, but you made the rescue, and you put the fire out, and didn't get anyone hurt. I've seen full time dept's do worse. Some of us are paid, some do it for free, but we all have to be professional when we do our job.

@Thatuptownguy this particular department is split between 2. They have a town dept and a village dept. Each have their own rigs.

@Himdarling44 with the size of those buildings they must have a ladder truck or two im sure

Agreed could have been a little more organized, however they did a pretty good job. Good stop, Mamaroneck.

@Thatuptownguy Being a volunteer dept, probably don't have a ladder truck. If they do, you have to think about the guys that go straight to the scene and don't stop and grab the truck in the first place. Sometimes it's not a simple answer of why or why not. Agreed about the laying in and then trying to bring a Truck in though. Truck should always get first pick of parking locations. Engine second.

good job mamaroneck fd but next time you need a ladder truck direct in front of the building and use it for the rescues. Everyone thinks its so easy to lay in and get water going but all that changes when people are trapped

@jasonfeeley - you my friend are an idiot, with no concept of reality.
But I will ask you this, do you have the guts to practice what you preach, go to the Village of Mamaroneck Headquarters and say what you posted to all the members during their meeting night.
I know you won't because you like others are internet hero's who hide behind the internet.
